Former Beşiktaş midfielder Sinan Engin has warned Galatasaray that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen could become a problem for them next season, Soccernet.ng reports.
On Saturday, Osimhen led the Cimbom to a historic fourth consecutive Süper Lig title. He scored a second-half brace to drive his side to a 4-2 win over Antalyaspor at Rams Park.
It was not the first time that the 27-year-old marksman has saved the Cimbom’s blushes.

The majority of his 22 goals and eight assists have proven vital across his 33 appearances this season. Indeed, it would not be an exaggeration to say that Galatasaray might not have won the Süper Lig if not for Osimhen.
However, former Beşiktaş man Engin believes that the Nigerian’s impact will begin to decline next season. He argues that other clubs in the Turkish Süper Lig will start specifically targeting the striker in order to keep him quiet.

What Sinan Engin Said About Victor Osimhen
Sinan Engin understands the Turkish football landscape very well, having played for various clubs in the country, most notably Beşiktaş. He believes that Osimhen’s presence could ironically become a management issue for Galatasaray next year.
”Next season, Osimhen will be the biggest problem for the Galatasaray management,” Engin said.
”Osimhen won't be able to play this comfortably next season. Opponents won't leave him that much space.”

In the meantime, there is even the possibility that Osimhen will leave Turkey in the summer, as he has attracted interest from suitors like Barcelona, Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich. Although he has often pledged his love for Galatasaray, he could depart if the right offer arrives.
But if he stays, Osimhen remains a unique talent. It will be difficult for most defenders to contain him due to his physical power and high energy levels.
Whenever he is fit, the Super Eagles star will definitely always be a headache for defenders and opponents alike.
