Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reiterated his love for Galatasaray amidst growing transfer speculation linking him to Barcelona and Arsenal, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen has established himself as one of the world's premier marksmen in recent years. Despite playing for three different clubs in the last six seasons, his performance levels have remained quite consistent.
The Nigerian star initially joined Galatasaray from Napoli in a loan deal two years ago. Then, last summer, despite being linked to several elite European sides, he completed a permanent €75 million transfer to the Istanbul giants, where he has continued to flourish.

So far, Osimhen has recorded an impressive 57 goals and 15 assists in 72 appearances.
While Galatasaray would only listen to offers in the nine-figure range, such a price tag may not act as a deterrent, given the tendency of top European clubs to spend heavily on world-class talent. However, it appears Osimhen is not currently keen on leaving Istanbul.

The Super Eagles star has remained vocal about his appreciation for the club and its supporters. In a recent interview, he reaffirmed his commitment, expressing deep satisfaction with his treatment and stating categorically that he is settled in Turkey.
”God has put me on that path to prepare me for the greatness I'm in right now,” Osimhen told journalist Onah Kosisochukwu.
“It's what shaped me into the kind of man I am today, and I've enjoyed so much in my career so far.
”But I think I've found a home here where I am comfortable, as are my family and a few close friends. This club—I’m trying to find the right word to justify it—is family. It’s love, unity, and utmost respect, not just for the player but for everyone associated with them.”

These comments will definitely come as a blow to his suitors, as they suggest he is settled and not looking for a move at the moment. His stance is also financially backed because he is the highest earner in Turkey at the moment, commanding a package of around €21 million net. This is even higher than the wages of many top players in Europe’s big five leagues.
Consequently, luring the former African king of football away from Galatasaray this summer will be a very tough task.
