Trabzonspor's Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has won the Goal of the Season award for the 2025/26 Süper Lig season, Soccernet.ng reports.
Onuachu is coming off a brilliant campaign with his side in the Turkish Süper Lig. The 32-year-old marksman played some of his best football and scored goals aplenty for the Black Sea Storm.
He scored 22 goals and added two assists, meaning that he was involved in 39.3 percent of Trabzonspor's goals in the Süper Lig last season. His 22-goal haul also ensured that he won the Golden Boot.

For Onuachu last season, it wasn't just about the number of goals that he scored. It was the spectacular fashion in which those goals came.
Usually, many big strikers are known only for their strength and aerial ability. But Onuachu showed a different side to his game.
Just as he was banging in the goals from aerial situations, he was also devastating with the ball at his feet. Onuachu scored some beautiful goals, and one of them has been named the Süper Lig Goal of the Season for the campaign.
Which of Onuachu's Goals for Trabzonspor Won Goal of the Season?

Paul Onuachu scored 22 goals for Trabzonspor in the campaign, but one of them was truly special.
His strike against Fatih Karagümrük in gameweek 7 has been named the Goal of the Season.
The goal was a sight to behold. Onuachu got on the end of a cross from Wagner Pina and hit the ball with a beautiful overhead kick to beat Ivo Grbić in the Karagümrük goal.
Although there has been speculation that Onuachu will leave Trabzonspor in the summer transfer window, amid links to several top clubs, the Super Eagles star will be looking to build on his success this season and continue doing big things with his side next season.
