Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has weighed in on the ongoing debate as to who the better right winger is between Lamine Yamal and Michael Olise, Soccernet.ng reports.
Lamine Yamal won the Kopa Trophy by huge margins in both 2024 and 2025, while Olise has surpassed 50 goal contributions for Bayern this season, the first-ever in his career.
Surprisingly, the teams housing both these players, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, have been linked with a summer move for Osimhen, who has scored 20 goals across all competitions for Galatasaray this season.

Lamine Yamal or Michael Olise? Victor Osimhen opines
When the question came up, the Super Eagles striker revealed he cannot compare both players because they possess impeccable talents tiers above everyone in that position in modern football.
“That's a tough one. Permit me to pick both,” Osimhen said in a quick-fire session with Berneese.

“These guys are unique in their own craft. I think they're almost similar because they use the same foot.
“The way they read the game is different, so picking one is doing a huge disservice to the other. I'll go for both.
“It's the same thing with Messi and Ronaldo. I go for both. I've never chosen any of them individually.
“Those two guys have been up there for almost 20 years. Some people compare, but for me, I love both, and I have to thank them for what they've done for football,” the 2023 CAF Player of the Year concluded.

Lamine Yamal has been ruled out of the season with a hamstring problem, but should be back in action for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Olise, on the other hand, scored a blinder in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final at the Parc des Princes and will be looking to punish PSG at the Allianz Arena next week.
