Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has opened up on his recovery process after suffering a hamstring injury three weeks ago, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 30-year-old started 27 of Fulham's games leading up to the Brentford clash on the 18th of April, where he held his thigh in the 73rd minute and had to be withdrawn shortly after.
Although the fixture ended in a goalless draw, it felt like a loss for Marco Silva's side, as the Portuguese coach revealed he's unsure if the Nigerian will be back in action for the Cottagers again this season.
Since joining Fulham, Iwobi has only been injured once, missing a month of action after joining from Everton. Since then, he's gone on to play over a century of games for the London-based club.

Alex Iwobi frustrated over hamstring problem
Speaking on his YouTube Channel in a recent video, the former Arsenal midfielder revealed he's been having to restrict his motion a lot due to the pain from the injury.
“I'm just walking through my neighborhoods, going through the shops. Obviously, the reason why I'm doing this is to get some blood flow and oxygen into the legs, make sure my legs are not just indoors, and keep active,” the Fulham midfielder said.
“Right now, as it stands, I have got a hamstring injury, so I'm going to keep on the move and get my steps in. It's unfortunate to get a hamstring injury.
“I appreciate the support and the love that everyone's showing me, and everyone checking on me.
“As of now, I don't know how bad it is. I'm able to walk, though I've got a limp, so that's a positive.
“I've got a scan soon. So by the time this video is out, I would have had my results, so I'm praying for a speedy recovery.
“I’m just grateful that I don’t really get injured on a regular basis because it is mentally challenging.
“Even me, now that I’m injured, I’m just fuming. I can’t be active, I can’t move freely. But that’s life; it is part of the game,” Iwobi concluded.
Fulham, since losing Iwobi to the hamstring injury, have won one of three Premier League games. With 48 points and two league games left to play, their best finish would be 7th, only if they win their remaining two games, and the teams above them fail to win.
