Premier Soccer League side Stellenbosch FC have emerged as a potential destination for Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah following his recent departure from Orlando Pirates, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian centre-back is currently without a club after mutually terminating his contract with the Soweto giants and is now attracting attention within the Premier Soccer League.
Although reports from Idiskitimes suggested that the Cape Winelands outfit were already assessing Ndah, his agent has clarified the nature of the club’s interest to Afrik Foot ZA, stressing that no formal trial or transfer talks have taken place yet.

Stellenbosch monitoring Olisa Ndah’s fitness
Ndah’s agent, Mike Makaab, explained that Stellenbosch’s interest is centred on the defender’s physical condition rather than an immediate move.
“Not assessing, purely looking at his level of fitness and wellbeing,” Makaab said to Afrik Foot ZA when asked about Stellenbosch FC’s involvement.
The 28-year-old has been without competitive action for some time after struggling with injuries during the final phase of his spell at Orlando Pirates, which limited his appearances and kept him out of action this season.

Agent confirms enquiries for Super Eagles defender
When asked whether Stellenbosch’s interest could develop into a possible transfer and if other clubs had begun making enquiries, Makaab replied: “Yes.”
Ndah officially parted ways with Orlando Pirates recently after three-and-a-half years at the club, having joined from Akwa United in 2021.

He established himself as a key figure in defence during his early seasons with the Buccaneers, but injuries and the emergence of younger players reduced his role in the squad.
The Super Eagles defender is now a free agent and is working on regaining full fitness as he weighs up his next move, with interest beginning to build from within South Africa.
