Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis is training with former Danish champions Brondby ahead of a possible transfer, Soccernet.ng reports.
Dennis has been without a club since terminating his contract with English Premier League side Nottingham Forest last summer.
The 28-year-old forward joined Forest from Watford in a deal worth €14.8 million in 2022, but he failed to make the cut there.

As a result, he was sent out on various loan deals to Istanbul Basaksehir, Blackburn Rovers, and his former club Watford, but he struggled to make an impact at any of them.
Since he was deemed surplus to requirements at Nottingham Forest, both parties eventually agreed to terminate the association last summer.
But despite being a free agent since last summer, he has struggled to find a new club. Dennis has been linked with clubs like Celtic, Persepolis, and a return to Watford, but nothing concrete emerged from those rumors.
Now, it appears the Super Eagles star is on his way to the Danish Superliga. According to VilfortPark.dk, the striker is currently training with Brondby as he aims to earn a permanent contract.

The club's current coach, Steve Cooper, was Dennis' manager at Nottingham Forest; having worked together before, the Welsh tactician is keen to give him an opportunity to prove his worth.
Brondby is a decent club in Denmark. Before the 2000s, they were consistent league winners. But since the dawn of the century, they have not been able to compete with giants FC Copenhagen and FC Midtjylland. Since 2000, they have won just one Superliga title.
Why Emmanuel Dennis' Potential Brondby Move Is A Major Step Down

Four years ago, Dennis was the darling of the Premier League. He registered 10 goals and six assists in 33 appearances for Watford during a standout individual campaign.
While Watford were ultimately relegated, it was almost certain that Dennis would remain in the English top flight.

He was linked to several Premier League clubs that season but ultimately chose the Tricky Trees. That decision, however, turned out to be a mistake, as the Super Eagles star often struggled even to make the matchday squad.
It is disappointing to see how far the forward has fallen just four years after his impressive Premier League run.
The Danish top flight is currently ranked as the 13th-best league in the world, and Brondby are not exactly regular title contenders anymore.
Nonetheless, the most important thing for Dennis right now is to secure a contract and get back to playing football. Perhaps he can make a big impact at the club.
Dennis has eight caps for Nigeria. He made his debut in October 2019, but he has not played for the Super Eagles since November 2022.
