Super Eagles and Sevilla striker Akor Jerome Adams has spoken about how he's adapted to playing alongside Victor Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 25-year-old made his debut for the Nigerian National team in their 2-1 win against Lesotho back in October, and has immediately become a first-team name in Eric Chelle's side.
Since then, he's started five of Nigeria's seven games, all beside Victor Osimhen, scoring two goals.

Akor Adams speaks on Osimhen partnership, plays down Cameroon AFCON curse
The former Montpellier striker has played a different role than he'd normally prefer up front, but for him, the preference is to help the team play the coach instructs.
“It's the same for me. I'm used to playing like that [with Victor Osimhen],” Akor Adams told Pooja Media.

“I've played like that at club level, in a double partnership. I think it's just understanding what the coach wants because every game is different.
“I try to adjust. We're professionals, so you cannot be tied to just one idea of the game, so it's normal,” the ex-Sogndal man continued.
Nigeria, under Austine Eguavoen, won all three of their group stage games in the AFCON 2021 tournament. However, they bowed out after the knockout round, losing to Tunisia.
The Super Eagles have gone on to win three group stage games again and will face Mozambique at the Complexe Sportif de Fès on Monday.

Quizzed if there's psychological awareness in the Super Eagles camp to prevent the error that happened in Garoua four years ago, Akor Adams said:
“Because you did something and failed at it yesterday doesn't mean you'll do the same and fail today. That does not happen. It doesn't exist.
“I think we can not be tied by what happened over four years ago. We're a different team, we're a different group of guys with a different mindset, and we believe in ourselves and believe in God.
“I don't think that what happened before repeats itself if we don't change the cycle, and we have changed the cycle.
“So, I think we're good, everyone is good, and I hope others can see that,” he concluded.

The Super Eagles will be without Alebiosu for the remainder of the tournament after the Blackburn Rovers full-back suffered a deep cut on his right leg.
