Super Eagles striker Victor has been ignored for the UEFA Team of the Week, despite scoring a brace for Galatasaray in their 3-1 victory over Bodo Glimt at Rams Park on Wednesday, Soccernet.ng reports.

Instead of Osimhen, UEFA chose Atletico Bilbao's Gorka Guruzeta, who scored a brace for his team in their 3-1 win over Qarabag.

Victor Osimhen will be disappointed that he did not make the UCL Team of the Week, and in reality, he deserved it.

According to Sofascore, Osimhen was rated a 9.8 against Bodo Glimt, while Gorka Guruzeta was rated 9.5.

Moreover, Osimhen faced a tougher opponent in Bodo Glimt, unlike Guruzeta, who played against Qarabag.
