According to transfer insider David Ornstein, Bayern have submitted a loan proposal that includes a sizeable fee and an option to buy at the end of the season.

The German champions are keen to reinforce their attack, and Lookman, who starred in Atalanta’s Europa League triumph, has emerged as their prime target.

The Super Eagles forward is open to leaving Bergamo, and sources indicate he remains intent on testing himself at a bigger stage. Bayern’s bid has been confirmed by multiple outlets, with Sky Sport Germany adding that the race is still wide open.

Who Are the Clubs Competing for Lookman?

It’s not just Bayern circling. Galatasaray and Tottenham Hotspur have also approached Lookman in recent days, underlining the level of demand for his services.

However, Bayern’s financial muscle and Champions League pedigree give them an edge as negotiations enter a crucial phase.

Transfer Structure

While exact figures remain under wraps, the offer is structured around a loan fee payable immediately, alongside a buy option set at a significant price if Bayern decide to make the deal permanent.

This would guarantee Atalanta a strong return while giving Bayern the flexibility to assess Lookman over the season.
