Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru may have to leave Lazio this summer, following the club's appointment of former Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri, Soccernet.ng reports.
After a topsy-turvy campaign that saw Lazio finish 7th, the club parted ways with coach Marco Baroni at the end of the season.
Super Eagles star Dele-Bashiru struggled to make a mark under the Italian tactician, as he featured in just 29 games in his debut campaign.

However, with the appointment of Sarri, Dele-Bashiru's fortunes might not even improve, as the Italian tactician has a specific style of play that might not accommodate every player.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, Dele-Bashiru's place in Sarri's team is not confirmed yet. Sarri wants to watch the Super Eagles star play for Lazio before making his final decision.
If Sarri is not impressed with Dele-Bashiru, Lazio could sell him this summer. Or else, he risks spending a lot of time on the bench next season.

The last time Sarri was involved with a Super Eagles player was Mikel Obi at Chelsea. The former Super Eagles captain had to leave the club eventually, as he fell out with Sarri.
Dele-Bashiru will hope that he does not suffer the same fate under the former Napoli boss and becomes and important member of the team.
