Two Serie A club sides in Napoli and Juventus appear to be leading the transfer race for Super Eagles and Atalanta forward, Ademola Olajade Lookman, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 27-year-old forward, despite his injury problems, has scored 20 goals and provided seven assists in 40 appearances across all competitions for La Dea this season.

Lookman's impressive appearances for Atalanta has seen him garner interest from several top-flight European clubs.

As per Juve FC, Lookman is destined to leave Atalanta this summer, while Juventus and Napoli are supposedly leading the race for the one-time UEFA Europa League winner.

According to IlBianconero, Italian transfer expert, Matteo Moretto, confirmed that the former Everton winger has offers from several clubs, but only the two Serie A clubs have registered official interest.

“Lookman will leave Atalanta. In the last few hours, there have been rumours about the possibility of him moving to Arsenal, although they have not been confirmed, due to his age and characteristics. The player has been proposed to many teams in Europe, but the most interested are Juventus and Napoli,” the journalist revealed.
