Super Eagles and Atalanta forward, Ademola Olajade Lookman, has revealed how proud he his of Atalanta's performance on all fronts this season, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 27-year-old was La Dea's poster boy last season after he scored a hat-trick that sealed their first-ever European silverware against an unbeaten Bayer 04 Leverkusen side.
This season, Atalanta were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Club Brugge and didn't make the round of sixteen. However, they improved domestically, and are third, just behind Inter Milan and Napoli.

“It’s a great feeling, we knew the importance of the game today to qualify for the Champions League. We put in a performance tonight that was deserving of that,” the former RB Leipzig forward told DAZN.
“I try to be available whenever I can, so that’s important, I try to give my best. The team showed we are strong, there are two more games, we want to finish with as many points as possible.
“Another game on Sunday, we’re looking forward to it, but tonight is a good night to celebrate. It’s not easy to do what we did this season, so congratulations to everybody,” the 2024 CAF Player of the Year concluded.
