Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze is expected to leave AC Milan at the end of the season, as he is now considered as surplus to requirements, Soccernet.ng reports.

Chukwueze joined AC Milan from Villarreal in a deal worth €21.1 million two years ago, and it has been a topsy-turvy stay for the 25-year-old Super Eagles star.

He was expected to do big things, but he has struggled badly. After struggling last season, it looked like the appointment of Paulo Fonseca was going to help him, as he got a lot of game time in preseason.

However, it did not pan out like that, as the Super Eagles star got most of his minutes from the bench.

But his situation has even gotten worse since AC Milan appointed Sergio Conceicao after Fonseca was sacked at the turn of the year. Since then, his minutes have reduced drastically.

In fact, since the start of 2025, Chukwueze has played only 206 minutes in AC Milan’s 25 games.

There have been talks that Chukwueze will exit AC Milan in the summer. Now, Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira has reported that the Rossoneri want to get Chukwueze off their books in the summer.

And the Nigerian already has admirers from the Premier League, LaLiga, and the Saudi Arabian league.

Who could be Samuel Chukwueze’s admirers?

Despite his lack of game time, Samuel Chukwueze has attracted a lot of attention from clubs abroad. Arsenal were heavily linked to him in the summer, but the deal didn’t materialise.

Fulham has also been touted as a potential destination. And they could push in the summer as coach Marco Silva looks to improve his attack.

Villarreal could also try to get him, especially as he was quite good during his time there. However, if the offer from Saudi Arabia is too good financially, a move to the Middle East cannot be ruled out.
