Sadiq has displaced Hugo Duro as the first-choice striker and is becoming a fan favourite at Valencia. This is as Eldesmarque reports that Sadiq is one of the top ten best-selling Valencia jerseys for 2025.

In fact, in March, only the jersey of Valencia captain José Luis Gayà recorded more sales than Sadiq’s.
Why Sadiq Umar has to keep shining for Valencia
Sadiq Umar has failed to score in his last two games for Valencia, and he is at risking of losing his starting shirt to Hugo Duro. In fact, the Spanish striker scored the winning goal in their shock 2-1 win over Real Madrid last weekend.
With Duro scoring in the last game, it is likely that coach Carlos Corberan will favour him to start in Valencia’s next game. However, Sadiq will always get minutes, and he need to show his quality with any opportunity he gets.
