Six-time English Premier League Champion, Rio Ferdinand, has urged Manchester United to go all out for Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, in the summer transfer window, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Red Devils are currently experiencing their worst top-flight campaign in over three decades, languishing in 13th place with 38 points on the English Premier League table.
Manchester United have scored 37 goals this season. Their strikers, Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund, have scored just six goals combined in the league this season, highlighting their goal-scoring problems.

Ferdinand, who experienced a very high level of success during his time at Old Trafford, has urged his former side to go all out for the 2023 CAF Player of the Year Award winner.

“We need Osimhen, we need experience, we need someone who knows how to score. Someone who can show these young strikers at Manchester United how to do it.
“If I’m Manchester United, I’m making it happen. I’m looking for someone who knows their way around the football pitch at the elite level and knows how to score at the elite level consistently. Osimhen has done that.
“I want here and now. Yes, Osimhen hasn’t played in the English Premier League, but I don’t care. I think he scores wherever he goes,” the former Manchester United captain said on the Rio Presents Podcast.

Osimhen was linked with a move away from Napoli last term, with his release clause as high as €130m. No one club was willing to meet the demands, and he ended up with Galatasaray, where he’s scored 28 goals and provided five assists in 32 games across all competitions.
