How much will Man United pay Osimhen weekly if €60m transfer happens?

Napoli forward Victor Osimhen to Manchester United

English Premier League giants, Manchester United, have reportedly agreed to pay €60 million to secure the services of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli, Soccernet.ng understands.

The Super Eagles attacker has recently been at the centre of a transfer move to the Premier League, with many English clubs vying for his signature.

Recent reports suggest that the Nigeria international has agreed to personal terms with the Red Devils, but the club was still pushing for a fee to sign the Super Eagles player from the Italian side.

Meanwhile, according to Turkish journalist Aygun Ozipek, as cited by Transfer News Live, the Manchester-based club has agreed to pay one hundred and nine billion naira to lure the Nigerian attacker to Old Trafford.

Should the deal go through, Osimhen is expected to earn an annual salary of €15 million (approx. 27 billion naira) at the Theatre of Dreams.

This is expected to make the Super Eagles talisman one of the highest-paid African players in world football.

The reported salary equates to approximately €1.25 million per month, around €288,000 per week, or nearly €41,000 per day. That breaks down further into roughly €1,700 every hour—just for donning the red shirt of Manchester United.

The move comes amid United’s desire to reinforce their attacking line ahead of next season, and Osimhen, at the time of writing this report, is currently leading the Turkish Super Lig's goal scorers chart with 21 goals, making him a top priority for the club.

While neither Manchester United nor Napoli have officially confirmed the transfer, this news has set tongues wagging across Europe.

Also, if the second-highest Super Eagles goal scorer joins Manchester United, it could lead to a big increase in commercial opportunities for the club in Africa.
