The Malian tactician had earlier expanded his provisional squad list to 39 players, introducing a few new names.
However, with Nigeria’s qualification hopes hanging in the balance, Chelle is expected to select his best legs for the crucial encounters.
The Super Eagles currently sit fifth in their qualification group with just three points from a possible 12, following draws against Lesotho, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, as well as a disappointing loss to Benin Republic.

With pressure mounting, securing victories in the upcoming games is crucial to keeping their 2026 World Cup dream alive.
The squad announcement will give Nigerian football fans a clearer picture of Chelle’s plans as the team prepares to resume camp next week.
