Since making her debut for Nigeria in 2021, Okoronkwo has established herself as a key player for the Super Falcons.

She announced her arrival with a decisive first international goal, securing a 1-0 away victory against Ivory Coast in the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers. Her goal, assisted by Michelle Alozie, ensured Nigeria's passage to the tournament with a 3-0 aggregate win.

The former St Etienne star came off the bench twice in the group stage, playing a part in Nigeria’s impressive 0-0 draw against Canada and their thrilling 3-2 victory over Australia. The forward was later called up for the 2024 Paris Olympics, featuring in a challenging group against Brazil, Spain, and Japan.
