There are already many sides to Nigeria international Alex Iwobi, but the Fulham midfielder continues to reveal more layers beyond football, Soccernet.ng reports.

A proven Premier League performer with stints at Arsenal, Everton, and now Fulham, Alex Iwobi has made his mark on English football.

His record — 29 goals and 31 assists in 277 Premier League games across three clubs — proves his credentials as one of Nigeria’s finest exports to the English top flight. This campaign alone, Iwobi has contributed seven goals and three assists in 24 league games to Fulham's cause.

However, Iwobi is proving he is more than just a footballer. Away from the pitch, he has embraced a creative life, particularly in music.

Back in 2024, the 28-year-old unveiled his rap talent to millions on social media, sharing a snippet of his unreleased track under the stage name “17.” His smooth delivery over a UK Drill instrumental, accompanied by a montage of his on-pitch highlights, caught the attention of fans.

In June 2024, he released ‘Don’t Shoot,’ a bouncy track that further showcased his passion for music. By November, he had dropped another single, What’s Luv?, featuring Emmanuel SPKS and MBrown, as he continued his push into the music industry.

Beyond music, Iwobi has also shown his philanthropic side. In December 2024, he opened a temporary shop in East London, providing free meals to local residents for Christmas.

Sharing images on social media, Iwobi was seen admiring and interacting with a well-built horse, possibly a Warmblood or a Cob-type breed.

Known for their calm temperament, strength, and versatility, these breeds are commonly used for general riding and equestrian activities. The horse, with a dark brown or bay coat, appeared strong yet gentle, making it suitable for both experienced and novice riders.

Despite his off-pitch interests, Iwobi remains focused on Fulham’s strong run of form.

The Cottagers have won three of their last four games in all competitions. The Nigerian featured for the final 15 minutes of Fulham’s 2-1 FA Cup win over Wigan Athletic, which secured their place in the fifth round against Manchester United.

This weekend, Iwobi will need to be at his best as Fulham face a tricky home clash against high-flying Nottingham Forest.

Fulham currently sit ninth in the Premier League with 36 points from 24 games, while Forest are soaring in third place, only behind Liverpool and Arsenal.
