Three Super Falcons stars — Jennifer Echegini, Francisca Ordega, and Ashleigh Plumptre — were in action for their respective clubs on Friday, January 24, Soccernet.ng reports.
Echegini, who joined PSG from Juventus in July, marked her debut in the Coupe de France Féminine with a superb goal in a commanding 6-1 victory over Nantes.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder scored PSG’s second goal in the 15th minute, just six minutes after Manssita Traoré opened the scoring for the Parisians.
Although Nantes briefly threatened a comeback when Danielle Marcano halved the deficit on the half-hour mark, PSG dominated the second half with four more goals to seal the win.
The victory ensured PSG became the first team to secure a spot in the Coupe de France quarterfinals, with other fixtures scheduled over the weekend.
Echegini’s goal was her first in the Coupe de France Féminine, adding to her impressive tally of three league goals for PSG this season.
She scored a brace in PSG’s 6-1 win over Dijon in November and netted in the 1-1 derby draw against Chiamaka Nnadozie’s Paris FC in December.
With four goals in her first eight matches across all competitions, the former Juventus star is proving to be a key addition for the French giants.
Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, Ashleigh Plumptre and Francisca Ordega featured in Al-Ittihad’s Women’s Premier League clash against Al Ula, but their side suffered a 2-0 defeat.
Ordega, making her debut after joining Al-Ittihad on a two-year deal as a free agent, could not inspire the team to end their losing streak.
Francisca Ordega has signed a 2-year deal with Al Ittihad Ladies in Saudi Arabia, joining fellow Nigerian star Ashleigh Plumptre at the club.

The four-time Women’s Africa Cup of Nations winner joined Plumptre, who made her ninth league appearance in the match.
Former Leicester City defender, Plumptre captained Al-Ittihad in the encounter.
Plumptre had found the net in Al-Ittihad’s 4-2 home loss to Al Ahli last week but couldn’t prevent her team from slipping to a fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions.
