Super Eagles and Sevilla winger, Chidera Ejuke, has his gaze fixed on qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with the Nigerian National team, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 27-year-old made his debut for Nigeria in 2020 during his time with Russian side, CSKA Moscow. However, he's yet to score or assist a goal for the Super Eagles in eight caps.

His last appearance in the green and white colours of Nigeria came in the AFCON 2021 tournament where he played 57 minutes in the Super Eagles' 2-0 win over Guinea Bissau.

The former Hertha Berlin striker suffered a high-grade hamstring tear in Sevilla's 5-1 loss to Barcelona in October 2024, and recently just returned, playing eight minutes in his side's win against Girona last Saturday.

Playing a World Cup would be very special, and I hope I can do it with the team, for sure,” the former Royal Antwerp forward said in quotes revealed by El Correo.
