French Ligue 1 champions PSG may decide against signing Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen, as Luis Enrique believes he has a similar profile to Randal Kolo Muani, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen has been heavily linked with a transfer to PSG in recent months, following his impressive displays for club and country. Last summer, it seemed like the 25-year-old striker was set for a transfer to Les Parisiens, but the deal broke down.

Still, the talks have not stopped, as the reigning French kings need a potential striker due to Goncalo Ramos and Kolo Muani’s inconsistencies.

However, it is unlikely that the club will eventually sign Osimhen. According to PSG Reports, coach Enrique is skeptical about signing Osimhen, as he believes that the Nigerian has a similar profile with Kolo Muani.

Nonetheless, even if PSG pull out of the Osimhen deal, the Nigerian star still has admirers from the English Premier League. Manchester United have been heavily linked with the 25-year-old hitman since coach Ruben Amorim took charge at the club. This is as Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund have been misfiring.

Osimhen is currently having a brilliant campaign at Galatasaray. The former Lille man has registered 12 goals and five assists in 15 appearance for the Super Lig champions.

If he continues to score goals at Galatasaray, a top club could snap him up during the January transfer window or next summer.
