“We’ll make it happen” – Super Eagles star linked to Chelsea, PSG set to be tempted by Saudi millions

Victor Osimhen, synonymous with blockbuster transfer sagas, is poised to dominate headlines again as the January transfer window approaches, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Napoli-owned striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Chelsea, Manchester United, and a yet-to-be-identified Saudi Arabian club, according to Gianluca Di Marzio via Kontraspor.

PSG, known for their lavish spending, reportedly offered €220 million last summer in a sensational deal to secure both Osimhen and Napoli teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Napoli, however, rejected the bid, unwilling to part with their Georgian playmaker. Al-Ahli, a Saudi Pro League powerhouse, also sought Osimhen but fell short as the Nigerian star was adamant about remaining in Europe. Al-Ahli eventually turned to Brentford’s Ivan Toney.

Chelsea came tantalizingly close to signing Osimhen before the transfer deadline but fell short, paving the way for his loan move to Galatasaray.

The 25-year-old has been exceptional in Turkey, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in just 12 appearances.

Despite interest from PSG and Saudi Arabia, Osimhen remains committed to Galatasaray, aiming to win the Süper Lig and Europa League.

“I want to finish the season here,” Osimhen reportedly stated, despite rumours of clauses that could allow a January departure.

Galatasaray are working to secure sponsorship deals to fund a permanent transfer for the striker.

Meanwhile, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi hinted at a renewed pursuit, telling Sky Sports: “If an opportunity arises, of course we will make it happen.”

French journalist Daniel Riolo added that PSG coach Luis Enrique, who approved the move in the summer, remains keen, with Osimhen’s price potentially lower than during the last window.
