However, an injury will see him miss the upcoming UEFA Europa League clash against Latvian side FK RFS.
His availability for Nigeria’s back-to-back 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya is also in doubt, with fans anxiously awaiting updates on the severity of the injury.
Osimhen has already contributed to Nigeria's success this new season, netting a goal in their 3-0 win over Benin Republic last month.
