Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka has shared his thoughts on the differences between playing in the German Bundesliga and the English Premier League, Soccernet.ng reports.
Onyeka, who completed a late loan move to FC Augsburg just before the English transfer window closed, spent three seasons at Brentford but struggled to secure a regular starting spot in the Premier League.
Now, having made a swift adjustment to life in Germany, Onyeka has weighed in on the contrasting styles of both leagues.
Speaking about his experience so far, the Nigerian international praised his smooth transition into Bundesliga football and revealed the differences he’s observed between the two competitions.
“It’s going well. I thank God it’s going really well. I’m helping the team as much as I can. But the main difference is that they run a lot more in Germany. I’m still trying to adapt to the club, but the players are doing their best to help me settle in,” Onyeka told Nigerian journalist Sulaiman Adebayo, popularly known as Pooja.
