Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Bobo Nwabali, has penned a new three-year contract with his club side, Chippa United, Soccernet.ng reports.
The former Enyimba International goalkeeper was a surprise inclusion in Peseiro's AFCON 2023 25-man squad, but he made Nigeria's number one spot his own.
Two clean sheets in three group stage games alongside a penalty shoot-out masterclass in the semi-final against South Africa confirmed Nwabali's place as the Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper for the foreseeable future.
Several clubs, including PSL's Kaizer Chiefs were interested in the services of the 27-year-old following his impressive outing in Ivory Coast. Chippa United also confirmed they had over ten offers from several clubs around the world for Nwabali.

The new Chippa United captain was a part of Bruno Labbadia's 23-man Super Eagles squad invited to camp to help Nigeria take on Rwanda and Benin Republic in next month's AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
