Ademola Lookman excluded from Atalanta’s visit to Torino amid hot PSG, Arsenal links

Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has been excluded from Atalanta’s squad for their Serie A game against Torino on Sunday, further fuelling talks that he will leave this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.

Lookman has been the subject of many transfer talks in recent weeks, following his impressive performances for Atalanta.

The Super Eagles star has been brilliant for La Dea in the past two seasons, registering 32 goals and 18 assists in 79 appearances. He was also key in their Europa League triumph last season, contributing a hattrick in the final.

This summer, PSG, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Al Ahli have been linked with the 26-year-old, but nothing concrete has come up.

Meanwhile, it appears that Lookman is keen on leaving. Last week, he missed training at Atalanta, and missed their opening game of the season against Lecce, which they won convincingly.

However, he returned to training this week, but he has been training alone. Ahead of Atalanta’s second game of the season against Torino on Sunday, they released their squad list, and Lookman was conspicuously missing.

Recall that Soccernet.ng reported earlier that Lookman had agreed on personal terms with PSG, but there is no news of an agreement between PSG and Atalanta.

Nonetheless, with just six days left until the end of the transfer market, Lookman’s next destination should be clearer.
