The Super Falcons of Nigeria are gearing up to face off against Japan in what promises to be a dramatic showdown.
After a tough journey through the tournament, with narrow 1-0 defeats to Brazil and the reigning Women’s World Cup champions Spain, Nigeria finds themselves in a must-win situation.
To secure a spot in the knockout stages as one of the best third-placed teams, they need nothing less than a victory over Japan.
