Former French Ligue 1 champions Olympique Marseille are keeping tabs on Super Eagles forward Moses Simon, Soccernet.ng reports.
Olympique Marseille have been quite active in the transfer market this summer. They have brought in Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Mason Greenwood, Ismail Kone, Lilian Brassier, and Meite Abdoul Bamo. And all these signings are aimed at improving on their eighth-place finish in the Ligue 1 last season.
However, it appears Marseille have not finished their business in the Transfermarkt. According to Edition Marseille, the French club are keeping tabs on Moses Simon.
The 29-year-old has been important for Marseille since he joined the club from Levante in 2020. Simon has proven to be a reliable outlet, as he has registered 29 goals and 32 assists in 168 appearance for the Yellow Canaries.
The Super Eagles star was previously linked with a move to the Premier League, but nothing concrete emerged from those talks.
However, there is a good chance that Marseille would opt to sign him because he is a valid threat on the wings and he is a seasoned Ligue 1 campaigner. With Simon on the team, Marseille would surely have an extra edge in their Frontline.
Simon would also arrive at a decent price for Marseille because he is valued at €13 million, per Transfermarkt.
