In line with today's victory and Leverkusen's celebration, Boniface took to social media to celebrate his Nigerian heritage. In his latest Instagram post, the talented striker is captured with the Bundesliga trophy and the Nigerian flag draped around his neck.
In his caption, Boniface wrote, “9ja no dey carry last,” highlighting the excellence and resilience that many Nigerians possess.
Apart from being a Bundesliga champion, Boniface was also recently named the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season, defeating Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig, Ian Maatsen of Borussia Dortmund, and Maximilian Beier of TSG Hoffenheim.
The Nigerian football star had an outstanding performance this season, significantly contributing to Bayer Leverkusen's victory.
