Five things to know about 18-year-old Kano Pillars forward who scored five goals against Gombe United

43-year-old Rabiu Ali currently captains Kano Pillars and he has won the Nigeria Professional Football League four times.

Kano Pillars youngster, Yusuf Abdullahi Tsamage, is a teenage Nigerian left-footed prodigy, who has been linked with Norwegian side, Bodø/Glimt.

Soccernet.ng reveals five facts about the Kano Pillars fleet-footed winger who stunned the Nigeria Premier Football League on December 3rd, 2023, by scoring five goals in sixty minutes against Gombe United.

1. Yusuf was born on the 31st of December, 2005, in Kano, Nigeria and is just 18 years old. He started his career with Kano Pillars and the 2023/2024 NPFL season is his first as a professional footballer.

Abdullahi was one of the youth team players promoted to the senior team in the summer after the club was issued a temporary ban on signing new players.

2. Yusuf is the youngest-ever player in the NPFL to score five goals in a match.

On the 3rd of December, the 18-year-old scored all of Kano Pillar's five goals as they travelled to the Pantami Stadium to play Gombe United, defeating the Savannah Scorpions 5-2.

4. He's scored the second most goals in a match in the League history, just behind Emem Eduok, who scored SIX goals for Dolphins against Nembe City in 2014.

5. He has been on trial with Victor Boniface's former club, the Norwegian side, Bodø/Glimt.
