Reports from Italian media outlets suggest that Trabzonpor is eager to secure the Super Eagles forward's signature on a permanent basis. However, Southampton is not keen on selling him, potentially hindering the move.
The towering Nigerian striker initially joined the Saints from Belgian side KRC Genk during the January transfer window. However, his tenure was considered unsuccessful, failing to score in 18 appearances for the club.
Consequently, Onuachu was loaned to the Burgundy Blues in the Super Lig, where he has thrived, scoring six goals in eight appearances thus far.
Southampton's current position, fourth in the EFL table, places them nine points behind Leicester City, making a return to the English Premier League a viable prospect if their form continues.
