A remarkable performance in the Championship League thus far has been sparked by the presence of Jamie Vardy, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, and a host of other players who have kept themselves at the King Power Stadium
Leicester City forward, Jamie Vardy, made an interesting move by speaking Pidgin English while presenting an award to Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi, Soccernet.ng reports.
Pidgin English serves as a unifying language commonly spoken among the people of Nigeria, including members of the Super Eagles team.
With the influence of Kelechi Iheanacho and Ndidi in the Foxes’ squad, it’s evident that players from other countries, like Vardy, are embracing the language.
A recent video captured Vardy engaging in a post-match presser with the Super Eagles midfielder.
During this interaction, Ndidi received the Skybet Player of the Month award for September, presented by Vardy, who playfully remarked, “Here you go, Willy. You sabi.”

It’s worth noting that England forward Jesse Lingard has also been seen speaking Pidgin, possibly influenced by Emmanuel Dennis and Awoniyi Taiwo in the past.
Vardy has now joined the growing group of Pidgin English speakers, and it won’t be long before other players follow suit.
Under the guidance of Enzo Maresca, who has led the East Midlands team to eight victories in nine domestic league matches so far, Ndidi has been impressive.
While Ndidi has been linked with potential moves to Nottingham Forest, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and other clubs, he appears to be enjoying his time at the King Power Stadium.
As City prepares to face Preston in Leicester, they aim to continue their successful streak, with Ndidi expected to carry on his excellent form.
