In the 2020/2021 season, Romero won the best defender award in Serie A after representing Atalanta in thirty-one games that season, and has been named as the toughest defender Osimhen has faced.
The Super Eagles striker highlighted that the strength, speed and intensity of the 25-year-old Argentine defender made him stand out amongst all the other defenders he's played against.
