In the Premier League, Taiwo Awoniyi assisted Anthony Elanga’s winning goal as Nottingham Forest defeated Chelsea 1-0, with Ola Aina performing well for Nottingham.

Frank Onyeka joined Brentford in the 71st minute, contributing to their 2-2 draw against Bournemouth, with Bryan Mbeumo scoring a late equalizer.

Over in Armenia, Yusuf Otubanjo delivered a standout performance, netting a hat-trick for Pyunik in their dominant 5-0 away victory against Van in a Premier League clash.

In China’s League One, Chisom Ecbugbulam scored an 88th-minute goal for Sichuan Jiuniu, but they suffered a 3-2 home defeat against Qingdao West Coast.

Back to Europe, where in a top-of-the-table clash in the Cyprus 1. Division, Ezekiel Henty opened the scoring for AEL, but Pafos fought back impressively to secure a 3-1 home win.

In the Czech Liga, Wale Alli was the hero for České Budějovice, scoring the winning goal in their 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Jablonec.

In Finland, Oke Akpoveta scored to give KPV a 2-1 lead, but EIF scored two late goals to claim a 3-2 victory.

Over to Germany, where Victor Boniface continued his excellent form, scoring two goals and assisting another in Bayer Leverkusen’s commanding 5-1 victory over Darmstadt. Nathan Tella also came on late in the second half to make his Bundesliga debut for Bayer Leverkusen. 

In Italy, Victor Osimhen failed to score as Lazio secured a 2-1 triumph over Napoli in Serie A.

Straight to Portugal, where Saviour Godwin had his first-half strike ruled out by VAR as Casa Pia played to a 1-1 draw against Rio Ave in the Primeira Liga.

In Romania, Philip Otele scored his fourth goal in three games to help CFR Cluj secure a convincing 4-1 away win at Voluntari in a Liga 1 matchday eight clash.

Over to Russia, where Francesca Ordega scored CSKA Moskva’s first and fourth goals in their emphatic 5-0 win against Chertanovo, putting them back at the top of the Superliga Women’s table.

In Scotland, Samuel Osadolor contributed a goal to Bonnyrigg Rose’s 5-1 victory over Elgin City in the League Two match.

Away to Serbia, Elijah Peace, a 20-year-old, scored his first goal for Mačva Šabac in their 2-0 home win over Mladost Novi Sad in the Prva Liga.

Back in Spain, Umar Sadiq made a substitute appearance for Real Sociedad in their exciting 5-3 triumph over Granada in La Liga.

In Venezuela, Ade Oguns, with eleven league goals this season, was unable to add to his tally as Caracas played to a 1-1 draw against Portuguesa.
