Samuel Chukwueze recently joined AC Milan after piquing their interest with an incredible 2022-23 season performance
Super Eagles forward, Samuel Chukwueze, notched his first goal for AC Milan in the Rossoneri’s preseason tie against Novara,Soccernet.ng reports.
In an ongoing tie with the Serie C side, the Nigerian attacker once again delivered his prowess as he opened the floodgate of goals in the exhibition.
The Super Eagles attacker pounced on a costly error made by a Novara player, and drive it to the goal area, dribbled past the Canadian goalie, Axel Desjardins, and slotted it to the net.
Recall that AC Milan boss, Stefano Pioli, revealed that Chukwueze’s attacking prowess, technicality and strong in one-on-one situations were the main reasons the Italian giants lured him to the San Siro from Villarreal.
“We had spoken to each other a couple of times, we were looking for a player with these characteristics. He’s fast, technical, strong in one-on-one situations and attacks deep. He seems like a complete winger to me,” he said as quoted by calciomercato.com.
The former Villarreal attacker in a video shared on Twitter proved his manager right by establishing himself on the pitch.

AC Milan will travel to tackle Bologna in their first Serie A games on August 21, and the Nigerian star will be looking to make an impact.
