Victor Osimhen’s impressive performance at Napoli has piqued the interests of several European top teams, and Al Hilal who are looking to tempt the Nigerian with a huge deal
Reigning Serie A champions, Napoli SSC, are set to tie Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen, with a super clause deal, Soccernet.ng reports.
In a series of productive discussions, Napoli’s prolific forward appears poised to commit his future to the Italian club with a contract extension till 2027.
While official announcements are yet to be made, Napoli’s recent meetings with Osimhen’s manager Roberto Calenda have reportedly yielded substantial progress in contract negotiations.
Al-Hilal have earlier made their intentions known to secure the signature of Napoli attacker, Osimhen, with a lucrative deal after losing out on their chase of France captain, Kylian Mbappé.
But, club president Aurelio De Laurentiis had publicly revealed the club’s intention to retain Osimhen’s services since he is tied with a contract that ends in 2025.
While the finer details are still being ironed out, sources close to the negotiations have disclosed some intriguing terms in Osimhen’s new contract structure.
The proposed extension outlines an impressive financial commitment, with an engagement sum amounting to an impressive 10 million euros.
This figure includes various performance-based bonuses that could further sweeten the deal for the Nigerian striker, incentivizing exceptional contributions on the pitch.

One of the most notable aspects of the potential agreement is a release clause that is currently under discussion. This clause, designed to safeguard both the player’s and the club’s interests, is projected to hover within the range of 140 to 150 million euros.
Although no dotted lines have been signed just yet, insiders suggest that an “agreement in principle” has been reached, paving the way for formal documentation to be finalized.
While the ink has yet to grace the paper, the narrative of Osimhen’s extended stay at Napoli is gradually taking shape, day by day.
