Newly Promoted NPFL side, Sporting Lagos, are looking to complete the signature of South-Sudanese youngster on Monday.
South-Sudanese wunderkind, Joseph Loro, whose contract expired at the end of the season with his club side, Munuki SCSC, will be in Lagos to finalize the proceeds of his transfer to Sporting Lagos, Soccernet.ng reports.
Newly promoted NPFL side, Sporting Lagos, who reportedly defeated Austria Bundesliga side, Red Bull Salzburg in the race to secure the services of 19-year-old Joseph Loro, are looking to complete the transfer, early next week, so he can train with the squad and be fully prepared as the new NPFL season kicks off August 26th.
Sporting could have had the deal wrapped up earlier, but Joseph had to stay back to perform the burial rites of a family member, and his travelling had to be rescheduled, but Soccernet.ng can exclusively report that the defensive midfielder will be in Lagos on Monday to complete the final stages of the transfer.
Joseph will be properly assessed by the Sporting Lagos management before the final details of the deal can be sorted.
The pre-contract offered to the youngster includes a pre-contract with Sporting’s Danish Sister club, Aarhus Fremad. If the deal goes through, he will spend just a year in Lagos, before moving to Denmark.
The 1.97m tall midfielder will earn a fee of around seven hundred thousand naira per month during his time with the noisy Lagosians.
His signature comes as an extra boost to the Sporting fans and the players, after the dwellers of the Mobolaji Johnson Arena secured the services of Super Eagles striker, Junior Lokosa.
Sporting Lagos are just eighteen months old, secured their first silverware after they defeated South-West rivals, Remo Stars in the final of the Naija Super 8 tournament, and are looking to kick off to a great start in the NPFL.
