Report: Napoli slap ₦150billion price-tag on Chelsea-linked Osimhen

Aurelio De Laurentiis is unwilling to let Osimhen leave Naples unless he gets a huge offer

Italian Serie A champions Napoli have slapped a hefty €180million(₦150billion) price-tag on Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen is one of the top strikers in the world at the moment. He was crucial to Napoli’s Scudetto win last season, scoring 26 goals in the run-up.

The 24-year-old goal poacher also scored five goals in the Champions League to help the club to their first-ever quarterfinals finish. His exploits have put him among Europe’s elite strikers, and he has become a top target for some of the top clubs.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and PSG have shown serious interest in the former Lille man. However, Napoli will not let go easily.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis already stated that the Nigerian forward is set to sign a two-year extension at the club, and that would make it harder to get him.

There were initial talks that Napoli would only be convinced by a bid of €150million. However, Transfer News Live now reports that Napoli have now increased it to €180million.

Considering the current inflated market, Napoli could hold out. Also, the clubs that have shown serious interest have the spending power.
