Osimhen vs. Kane: Bayern Munich fans declare their preferred striker in transfer poll

The Nigerian international is wanted by half of Europe’s wealthiest clubs after a record-breaking season in Italy

Bayern Munich fans have voiced their preference for the club to secure the signing of Harry Kane this summer, according to a recent poll conducted by Kicker, Soccernet.ng understands.

Out of the impressive 242.8k participants, the survey reveals that 34% of Bayern Munich supporters desire the acquisition of Tottenham Hotspur’s Kane, placing him ahead of Victor Osimhen and other potential strikers on the fans’ wish list.

The poll results indicate that Randal Kolo Muani, at 18%, and Osimhen, at 16%, are the next preferred choices, followed by Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus (13%) and Niclas Füllkrug of Werder Bremen (11%).

While Bayern Munich has demonstrated a keen interest in Kane, Osimhen remains on their radar as well.

Although Chelsea has also expressed interest in Osimhen, Bayern Munich can offer him the allure of Champions League football, a luxury unavailable at Stamford Bridge.

In pursuit of Kane, Bayern Munich had their initial bid of €70 million plus bonuses rebuffed by Tottenham. However, reports suggest that the German giants are preparing an improved offer to secure England’s leading goal scorer.

Despite that, Bayern Munich have reportedly engaged in preliminary discussions with Napoli regarding Osimhen.

Although the exact details of the offer remain undisclosed, it is believed to be considerably lower than the €100 million bid presented by Paris Saint-Germain, which Napoli rejected.

Despite these developments, Napoli remains hopeful that Osimhen will agree to a contract extension with the Italian champions.
