Bright Osayi-Samuel has recently been linked with a move to join the Scottish side, Glasgow Rangers, but a move to Scotland might not be possible.
Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has revealed his ambition to play in the English Premier League amid transfer links to top European clubs, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian star’s impressive performance has piqued the interest of Brentford FC and AFC Bournemouth, who will be locking horns in this summer transfer window to secure the services of the Nigerian wing-back.
In an exclusive interview with Soccernet.ng, the former Queens Park Rangers defender, who moved to join the Turkish side in 2021, crushed his transfer link to Glasgow Rangers by revealing that his ambition is to play for a Premier League club.

The Nigerian international made a good impression of himself with his abilities when he single-handedly mounted pressure on Guinea-Bissau’s defence to secure a victory for Jose Peseiro’s men’s defence in the second leg of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
However, the Turkish giants who still enjoy these impressive performances at the Ulker Fenerbahce Sukru Saracoglu Stadium have trashed his early move to Bournemouth during the January transfer window with their persistence to not sell him for a fee lesser than €12 million.
However, Brentford put out the needed sum, satisfying the demand of the Istanbul-based club and the front-runner in the battle to recruit him ahead of the Scottish side, Rangers.
Osayi-Samuel, when asked about his ambition to play in the Premier League, he revealed to Soccernet.ng, “I think everyone knows that my ambition is to play English football, to play in the [English] Premier League, you know. No disrespect they [fenerbahçe sk] have done some much for me there [in Turkey]. But my ambition is to play in the Premier League. So when I feel that the time is the right time for me to go, I will take it.”

The Nigerian star joined Fenerbahçe for a fee in the region of €508k from QPR, and the 2022-23 Turkish Cup winner will have the best time to cash in on him this summer if European teams seek his services.
