This season, Victor Osimhen has scored a total of 23 goals in the domestic league, with Lautaro Martinez coming in second with 20 goals
Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, was spotted expressing his dissatisfaction with Luciano Spalletti’s choice to replace him against Inter Milan.
Thanks to a pivotal goal against Verona and a brilliant penalty kick against Fiorentina to put their championship on the ice at the Diego Maradona Stadium, the Parthenopeans won their first Serie A title in 30 years.
The Nigerian star, who this year broke George Weah’s 23-year-old record for the highest goal scored by an African, wants to extend the record, but Spalletti substituted him only nine minutes after the hour mark.
In the 67th minute, Andre Zambo Anguissa gave the Gli Azzurri the lead after several attempts to defeat the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League finalist.
But Osimhen, who has 23 goals in the domestic league, was replaced only two minutes after the goal and was seen to be upset by the move by his Italian boss.
The Super Eagles striker confronted his coach in a clip that was posted on social media, querying why he had replaced him so early in the game.

The Nigerian is purportedly doing all in his power to win the league’s golden boot by tallying the most goals, with Lautaro Martinez now behind him with 20 goals.
Due to his two-game goalless streak, his rage is plain to see. The Nigerian is hoping that he has plenty of time to comfortably increase his goal lead, believing that even if Napoli loses games, the team still have nothing to lose.
The Nigerian forward nevertheless has an opportunity to find the net, however, as Napoli travels to face Bologna then hosts Sampdoria for their final match at the Diego Maradona stadium.
