However, the financial aspect of the transfer could pose a significant hurdle, given Zaniolo's existing €35 million termination clause, which decreases to €30 million in January 2024 and drops to €28 million the following summer.

Milan may explore options such as an expensive loan deal with a purchase option to overcome this obstacle.
