Iwobi has had the opportunity two work with three of the best tacticians in football history, and he has revealed which of them is the best

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has revealed that former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is the best coach he has ever worked with, Soccernet.ng reports.

Iwobi has had the opportunity to work with some of the best tacticians to grace the game. The Nigeria midfielder started his professional career in 2015 under the tutelage of Arsene Wenger whilst the Frenchman was still at the club.

With Wenger as Arsenal’s gaffer, Iwobi played 98 games, where he featured prominently as a winger. The versatile 27-year-old registered nine goals and 16 assists under Wenger.

However, since Iwobi’s transfer to Everton in 2019, he has worked with six coaches. The Nigeria international has worked be Rafael Benitez, Sean Dyche, Frank Lampard, Carlo Ancelotti, Marco Silva, and Duncan Ferguson.

Of these coaches, the greatest are Ancelotti and Benitez because of their success.

In an interview with Filthy @ Five, Iwobi revealed that After Wenger, Ancelotti and Benitez are the best coaches he has worked with.

“In my opinion, Wenger is number one, then Carlo, then Rafa Benitez,” Iwobi said.

Since Ancelotti left Real Madrid two seasons ago, they have struggled. Everton are currently in a battle to stay alive in the Premier League, they need a win against Bournemouth on the final day of the season to preserve their top-flight status.
