Soccernet.ng highlights the most notable performances of several Nigerian stars for their respective clubs in Europe and beyond.

Unstoppable Anglo-Nigerian forward Chuba Akpom sealed the scoring to help Middlesbrough stage a come-from-behind 3-1 victory over Hull City at Riverside Stadium.

Akpom’s strike just past the hour mark was his 28th league goal, and it secured Boro’s 22nd win of the campaign. Moreover, with this goal, Akpom has become the first player in the Championship to score in nine consecutive home games.

In the Canadian Championship, Sunusi Ibrahim scored his first goal of the year, leading Montréal to a morale-boosting 2-0 win over Vaughan Azzurri. The winning side also saw twenty-two-year-old Chinonso Offor make a second-half appearance.

In the Czech Republic FNL, Solomon John got the opener for Vlašim, but Slavia Praha II scored a late equaliser to force a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, at the Stadion v Kotlině, Abdoullahi Tanko scored the fifth and sixth goals for the home team Varnsdorf in their 7-2 rout over Marvis Ogiomade’s Vysočina Jihlava.

Moving on to Lithuania, Mathias Oyewusi was among the goals as Zalgiris secured a 2-0 victory over Dainava, confirming their dominance.

In Norway’s Eliteserien, Ipalibo Jack scored the first goal for Strømsgodset, and the visitors came back from two-nil down to take a 3-2 lead at the Åråsen Stadion. However, Akor Jerome Adams netted a 95th-minute winner as Lillestrøm made a roaring comeback to win 4-3.

In the Turkish Süper Lig, İstanbulspor and Antalyaspor played a thrilling 3-3 draw, with Emeka Eze assisting the home team’s opening goal.

Unfortunately, David Akintola had a terrible evening as he was shown a straight red card at the Konya Büyükşehir Belediye Stadyumu. Despite this, with Henry Onyekuru playing for 57 minutes, Adana Demirspor still managed to secure a 2-1 win over Konyaspor.

Lastly, in the Ukrainian Premier League, Viv Solomon-Otabor also received his marching orders during stoppage time of Rukh Vynnyky’s 1-0 defeat against Inhulets’.
