Many sports fans queued up in certain instances, as previously reported by Soccernet.ng, to get a replica of the mask, and a boy's picture wearing Osimhen's mask and hairstyle quickly went viral on social media.

In a recent tweet from footballogue, the Super Eagles player's mask, jersey number, and name were all carved out in a cake to show how popular he is becoming among sports fans.
