Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has now scored 100 career goals after his beauty for Napoli in their 2-0 win at Sassuolo.

Nigeria striker Osimhen had 99 career goals before the game, and he was looking to reach three figures against the Neroverdi.

The Sassuolo defenders were expecting him to pass the ball, but he decided to go for goal from an acute angle, and it paid off, as his shot went straight into the net.

Asides from his goal, Osimhen registered 33 touches, three successful dribbles, and three shots on target.
Both teams were able to score more, and Napoli ran out 2-0 winners. The victory ensures that they are 18 points above second-placed Inter Milan who have a game in hand.
Osimhen now has 18 league goals, and per Opta, he has become the first Napoli player to score in seven straight games since 1995.
