The Super Eagles are close to sealing a spot in Africa’s elite competition, and they will have two stadiums to work with

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja and the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo for Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Nigeria sit on top of group A of the qualifiers after victories over Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe.

The Super Eagles have four games left in the qualifiers which resume in March. Nigeria return to action with a home game against Guinea-Bissau, after which they will travel to their West-African counterparts for the return leg.

Ahead of the qualifiers, Africa View Facts revealed that CAF has approved the Godswill Akpabio and Moshood Abiola as venues for Nigeria’s games.

The Super Eagles have been playing their home games at the Moshood Abiola Stadium since 2022, and it is expected to be the first-choice venue for the qualifiers.
