Harry Kane scored as Tottenham rallied from a 2-0 deficit to tie with Brentford while Frank Onyeka was out due to an injury.

Super Eagles midfielder, Frank Onyeka was missing in action as Tottenham battled back to tie Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The London team rallied from behind to steal a point against Thomas Frank’s club in a 2-2 tie, although the star was not included in the squad.

The Nigerian played a significant part for the Bees before the Premier League World Cup break and was expected to be important for the West Londoners on Boxing Day.

Despite all the excitement surrounding his move to Brentford last season, Frank Onyeka’s first Premier League campaign was not a success.

In his debut season, he played in 20 matches for the Bees, but failed to record a goal or an assist.

However, he has produced a fair amount of performances so far, appearing in 12 domestic league games for Frank’s team and providing an assist in 4 starts.

The 24-year-old was nowhere to be seen on his team’s bench today as the Spurs fought valiantly to overcome a 2-nil deficit.

Onyeka missed the game reportedly due to a hamstring injury, but it was anticipated that the Nigerian will be heavily involved when the two London clubs square off.

Frank Onyeka missed #BrentfordFC's 2-2 draw with Spurs due to a hamstring injury and is "borderline" to be fit for West Ham on Friday.

After goals from Vitaly Janelt and Ivan Toney, the Bees were poised to defeat Spurs for the first time since 1948. However, Spurs scored twice in the next six minutes to spoil their plans.

England’s captain, Harry Kane, scored an outstanding header from Clement Lenglet us cross in the 65th minute to restore parity.

With a sweeping finish, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg tied the score at 2-2. However, Neither team was able to score the game’s winning goal.
